RCB have had a resurgence. That’s the only you can put it. Their sudden rise in form has come at the right time with playoffs in sight. They looked down and out and unable to perform as a unit. Just like Delhi, they were lingering at the bottom of the table but their fightback has given them a good chance to qualify for the playoffs. At least a chance.
SRH, however, lost their last game to CSK, not that it presents an impediment to their chances of qualifying for the playoff as they already have, but they certainly will be looking to go to the Playoffs in a buoyant fashion. They still sit at the top of the pile and they would certainly want to be there come to the playoffs.
RCB have an added advantage, the ultimatum. They know what they have to do in order to get to the playoffs while SRH could certainly fall for complacency after their remarkable campaign.
No changes expected as they would not want to alter their winning combination.
Wriddhiman has made it to the nets so should make way for Sreevats Goswami, seems to be the only change.
Probable Playing XIs
Parthiv Patel(wk), Virat Kohli(c), AB de Villiers, Mandeep Singh, Sarfaraz Khan, Moeen Ali, Colin de Grandhomme, Tim Southee, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal
Shikhar Dhawan, Alex Hales, Kane Williamson(c), Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Shakib Al Hasan, Wriddhiman Saha/Shreevats Goswami(wk), Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma
Kohli and De Villiers have to be on their best if they wanna beat the resolute SRH bowling attack.
Kane Williamson would spearhead the batting while Sakib’s mastery as an all-rounder could help trouble the RCB middle order.
