DD vs CSK The Big Picture
DD and CSK face off in the final stages of what has been another massively entertaining IPL. Both the teams have had contrasting fortunes. Delhi has crashed out of the competition yet again and Chennai, well, they have been their dominating best.
Occupying the second position with some style, Dhoni and Co. Will look to get an easy win over the North Indian based Franchise. But they will be wary of the complacency factor. Even though they have made it certain that they’ll be playing yet another set of playoffs, they must not lose focus as good momentum is always helpful for later stages of the tournament.
For Delhi, there is nothing much to say. A hopelessly fragmented set of players finally paying the price for not performing as a team. Nothing has worked in Delhi’s favor. Just some notable individual performances and nothing to show for it. Delhi must play for their fans tomorrow.
The game looks dead rubber on the paper but both the teams would not like to lose it. For Delhi it is about preserving their pride and for Chennai, it’s about to keep the momentum going.
DD vs CSK Team news:
DD: no changes expected as they performed well in their last game against RCB with all of their the debutants except Dala impressing. Dala should get another go.
CSK: CSK impressed in their last match against SRH but might make some changes and rest some players, although unlikely given the past. Willey hasn’t shown the best of form but might get another chance to prove his worth.
-Chahar to be out because of his hamstring injury.

DD vs CSK Key Players:
DD: Sandeep Lamichhane impressed on his debut and would have boosted his confidence with that economy rate. He could be a key player against a formidable batting lineup of CSK.
Abhishek Sharma: His debut personally could not have gone any better. His quick-fire batting style might expose CSK’s bowling weaknesses.
CSK: Ambati Rayudu. Mumbai’s loss was Chennai’s gain and with more than 500 runs this season and a century in the last game, Rayudu can only be expected to go all guns blazing this time too.
Shardul Thakur has been a very effective bowler and CSK will count on him for some early breakthroughs.

Wicket-keeper: Dhoni although a close competition from Pant.
Top Order: Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu, Prithvi Shaw and Shreyas Iyer make up the top order.
All Rounders: Abhishek Sharma, Dwayne Bravo, and Shane Watson are the best picks.
Bowlers: Sandeep Lamichhane, Trent Boult, and Shardul Thakur complete the fantasy XI.
